Funeral Director
As a celebrant I have been working alongside Rod of Wells Funeral Services since 2016. Rod is an independent, non-invasive, forward-thinking undertaker and between us we recognise the need for clients to receive exactly what they wish to achieve from the funeral they want and need.
Year on year the business has been expanding with more and more people liking Rods approach to funerals. As this happened I became involved in the business outside of my role of celebrant, to help him but he also recognised the need for a lady undertaker in what is still a very male dominated profession.
I am now part of their team, involved in all aspects of the business, from visiting families to discuss what they would like for a funeral, collecting the person who has died from their home, care home, hospital or hospice, care for their body and dressing them when they come into our care, then delivering the funeral ceremony or celebration of life on the day.
